Why Next.js?+
It covers 90% of what we need — routing, SSR, API routes, image optimisation, and a mature ecosystem. For simpler SPAs we will use Vite + React, and for pure content sites we will use Astro. We pick based on the job, not the hype.
Who owns the code?+
You do. Fully. On day one the repo is in your GitHub org. No licensing, no lock-in. If you part ways with us tomorrow the project keeps running.
Do you handle design too?+
Yes for functional UI — Tailwind, component libraries, and careful layout work. For heavy brand or illustration work we will collaborate with a designer you choose or we can recommend one.
Can you scale this with us after launch?+
Yes — sprint-based retainers for features and fixes, or a handover to your in-house team with clean docs and a walkthrough. Whichever you need.
How do you handle payments securely?+
Stripe Checkout or Elements for anything touching a card — we never handle raw PAN data. Webhooks are signature-verified and idempotent. Subscription state lives in your database, not in memory.
